Comes masked on non engraved side to prevent scratching before your use. No ink or paint used, all markings are engraved on the underside of the alignment tool.

Sturdy 1/8th Inch cast acrylic. Vivid Engraving that shows solidly through the clear acrylic. Flat top surface and the fact its see through make aligning a breeze, and it also can be written on and erased with dry erase markers for notes on alignments.

It is normal to see some scorching on the paper masking that is left on the ruler, this is superficial to the paper only and does not affect the acrylic whatsoever, please see the pics for example.

Remember*** REMOVE THIS ALIGNMENT TOOL BEFORE HEAT PRESSING YOUR SHIRT *** Pressing your shirt with the alignment tool left in place will certainly melt the ruler and possibly stick to/ruin your heat press, and no one wants that!
